Jane Lewis is an accomplished Advanced Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Northampton Ear Clinic. With over 30 years of clinical experience, she provides a high level of expertise to patients seeking professional care for a variety of ear conditions.
Clinical Background and Education
Jane completed her initial nurse training in London, where she focused on Accident and Emergency care.
Following her qualification, she joined the British Army as an Officer within the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. During her five years of service, which included a tour of duty during the first Gulf War, she developed the strong clinical judgement, resilience and leadership skills that continue to define her professional approach today.
Upon returning to civilian life, Jane moved into General Practice and continued her academic development. She holds a Master’s degree in Autonomous Independent Practice, a qualification that reflects her ability to manage complex patient needs with a high degree of clinical independence.

Jane has dedicated a significant portion of her career to the assessment and management of ear health. She undertook specialist ear nurse training at both Northampton General Hospital and Stoke Mandeville Hospital, a rigorous process taking over a year to complete.
Her NHS career included running a dedicated ear clinic for six years. During this time, she developed extensive experience in specialist practice, providing patient-centred care and mastering advanced techniques. For the past decade, she has successfully operated her own private practice based at Leicester Terrace Health Care Centre.
